HARRISBURG – State Rep. Mike Armanini (R-Clearfield/Elk) today shared that the 75th Legislative District is receiving $900,000 from the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) through the HOME Investment Partnerships Program to support affordable housing.
“This funding marks an investment in our community to increase and preserve the supply of housing available to our low-income families,” said Armanini. “I am happy to share and support this funding for our district to rehabilitate existing affordable housing.”
Clearfield County and Elk County each received a HOME Program award.
• Clearfield County received $500,000 for rehabilitation of four existing owner-occupied homes in the city of DuBois and Sandy Township.
• Elk County received $400,000 for rehabilitation of eight existing owner-occupied homes.
Funding for the HOME program comes from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and is distributed by DCED.
Questions about this or any state government issue should be directed to Armanini’s St Marys district office at 814-781-6301 or his DuBois office at 814-375-4688.
