Armanini Bridge Renaming Ceremony to Honor Former State Trooper

WHAT: State Rep. Mike Armanini (R-Clearfield/Elk) will host a ceremony to rename the U.S. Route 219 bridge which crosses Pentz Run between Sandy Township and the City of DuBois in Clearfield County in honor of former Pennsylvania State Trooper Brad Wilson, who was critically wounded on Sept. 26, 2013, while attempting to serve a warrant at a private residence in Jefferson County.

WHO: Armanini; Wilson; state Sen. Wayne Langerholc, Jr. (R-35); past and present members of the Pennsylvania State Police; representatives from Clearfield County, the City of DuBois and Sandy Township.

WHEN: Thursday, Oct. 17, at 1 p.m.

WHERE: 336 Aspen Way, DuBois (a tent will be set up in the parking lot of Xtreme Wear).
