Armanini Acknowledges Retiring Elk County Public Servant
HARRISBURG - State Rep. Mike Armanini (R-Elk/Clearfield) recently recognized Cecilia Bienkowski, who is retiring after 34 years of service in the Elk County Assistance Office, by presenting her with a citation from the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
Cecilia was originally hired to serve as an administrative assistant and was promoted to income maintenance caseworker after nine years in the office. She completed specialty work in the long-term care unit and processed children and youth cases.
Located in Ridgway, the Elk County Assistance Office provides various social services and assistance programs to eligible residents in the area. They support individuals and families in need by offering resources such as food assistance, healthcare programs, and financial aid to help improve their quality of life.
“I’d like to thank Cecilia for her long-time service to Elk County,” said Armanini. “She has been a tremendous asset to our community, and we will miss her wealth of knowledge and the professional manner in which she approached her work.”
